Welcome to the July edition of my new moon offering! This one includes a visualization exercise for meeting an “unlovable” part of you (fyi: all of you is lovable)—and starting to repair your relationship with it; as well as 2 art practices you can try if they call you ✨

Tasking myself to write about love during Cancer season has given me, a double Cancer, great pause. It’s the first time I’ve felt a bit stumped writing this newsletter. I thought perhaps I’d try to define it. Trace my rocky and beautiful journey to discovering what true love actually is. Write about how love must begin within oneself, how the intrapersonal affects the interpersonal, which then affects society and the world at large; and how systems of oppression make their way into our relationships with ourselves & those closest to us. This bountiful rumination is making me realize that perhaps there is a book inside of me, all about love!

But alas, there is still this newsletter, which is not a book, and to which I am very devoted to. What I can share with you in the confines of this space is how my understanding and use of love have expanded & expanded & expanded over the years, leading to my knowing of love as the most spacious, powerful, and queer force in the universe.
