wow, hi, hello. i am turning into a slug! i’ve had a lot of outward activity lately, launching my new creative coaching & lifestyle design offering and being more visible online—a reluctant but required part of publishing my first book. which, i do not think i have mentioned here before!

my debut poetry collection, Gospel of a Whole Sun, will be published in May by Andrews McMeel Publishing, and distributed by Simon & Schuster 🥹

this book chronicles my journey of self-discovery over the course of three pivotal years, documenting the aftermath of a traumatic break-up, navigating anti-asian violence during the pandemic, my queer coming out—and ultimately falling in love with life again. writing this book was my path to freedom, and I know it contains recipes for healing, love, and liberation that our world so desperately needs.

i am finding that sharing my art publicly is spiritually & emotionally taxing in a way i wasn’t expecting—so i will keep this newsletter short and sweet, but you can read more heartfelt words about my path to publishing here, and how i started writing the book here.
